I have found these scales to have a systematic (reproducible) error of 0.1 grams. 0.0 grams or +0.1 grams depending on when the scale is turned on (new reset). For example 5.0g, 5.0g, 5.0g after restart. Another time, after another reboot, it measures the same object at 5.1g, 5.1g, 5.1g (a series of measurements on the same nickel. This is normal as I apply the necessary calibration for my measurements other objects can simply carefully do the same reloading (I know the random error is only +/- 0.1 grams, depending on the accuracy of the scale, measured to the tenth or gram) to close the bucket into the scale inlet Never sure if I've pushed it far enough I don't want to push it further because there's going to be a lot of resistance to it.
