Switch sockets, timers and intelligent sockets become unusable as a result. But this lamp does it right! Its form factor is also unusual/unique and good for a modern desk with one or two monitors. All in all this is an amazing table lamp! But only four stars because they ruined the auto dimming feature. Fix it, send a replacement and I'll happily change my rating to five stars! But documentation. Pooh! This is another example of translation from another language to English by people who absolutely don't need it - google translate would do a better job. Lines like "Press once to activate/deactivate a function" and "Press the top button to activate/deactivate another function" and "PRESS BUTTON PLEASE". Oh woe!
