Review on IHome IP92BZ Dual Alarm Clock Radio by Matt Estrada

Inexpensive home speakers

I've had the clock radio for about 6 months now. Learning how to use it was not easy, the instructions are very poorly written and not very intuitive. I use an old iPhone 3GS to listen to music at night, but I found the iPhone adapter wasn't very secure and kept losing connection. in the adapter. No more lost connections. My biggest complaint is with the speakers, they sound really cheap and when listening to music with a lot of base all you hear is an annoying hum. I've tried tweaking the controls but that doesn't help, they're just cheap speakers. My other complaint is the speaker volume when the alarm goes off. I adjust my volume quite comfortably, if you listen at night, when the alarm goes off in the morning, it's so quiet that you don't hear it until the volume is automatically increased. Instead of waking up at 7am it could be 7.15am or later before he wakes you up, not good if you have a strict schedule. I don't know about you, but when the alarm goes off, I want to hear it right away and get up. The placement of the buttons is very poor, you might think they have some kind of indentation or at least the power button is slightly raised so that you can easily distinguish it from other buttons. It's too late to return it, so I'm looking for other clock radios.
