This item is a must have when installing a basic car audio system or an expensive audio system and this 3M product will last a long time and is great value! It's like malleable chalk that never dries out but keeps its shape after it hardens. It's like the black butyl rubber that's on the sound deadening panels but very sticky without the aluminum foil. Its primary uses are sealing and insulating installed metal car door speakers, eliminating rattles, sealing small openings, and directing sound to sealed door panels for maximum bass enhancement. I bought a box and used 75% on my 4 door Toyota Tacoma. Good product ! Small things have a big impact! One of the best addons for the money invested! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !
