I recently bought a matcha and realized I need a chasen to get a good mix so I went with this starter kit . be of good quality. It stirs the matcha well and leaves no lumps. The whisk teeth were not broken, cracked or deformed. The spoon and shovel are of high quality, the stand is without defects. Having not used it for a long time I can't comment on durability, but it doesn't appear to have suffered any damage from being struck by matches. All said and done, it appears to be a very good quality item that works well.
