This item came with 1 other item which was well packaged in a Revain package. Only this item was damaged at the autopsy. The items in the box seemed fine with no cracks or breaks, but the whisk jar lid looks like it was cracked or sheared off by a sharp object. I wouldn't give it to anyone if it was a present but it was for myself. All items appear to be standard and have not been used.

Received this as a starter kit for my matcha foray. I've been using it every day for 2 weeks and it's been great so far. The morning ritual of preparing Matcha is the perfect relaxed start to the day. My little molded scoop has cracked a bit, although I only wet it when I disinfected everything when it arrived (hot water only), but it still works great. Definitely recommend.

I bought this set for my 12 year old daughter who quickly became a matcha fan. She thoroughly enjoys the process of making matcha and latte and has made it a ceremony. The only slight disappointment was that she would have preferred a blue stand and we selected it when ordering, but it was black and grey. Further in the product description I read that the racks are packed randomly. This was not apparent when ordering. However, this is a great set for a first timer.

I bought 3 sets as gifts and received 2 holders in white and 1 in aqua. It was my best color choice so I was happy there. My disappointment was in the whisk class. A bit lean in the number of prongs and the tea did not foam like it usually does with my 100. I recently bought a matcha and realized I need a chasen to get a good mix so I went with this starter kit . be of good quality. It stirs the matcha well and leaves no lumps. The whisk teeth were not broken, cracked or deformed. The spoon and shovel are of high quality, the stand is without defects. For a long time I resisted the purchase. I've tried mixing and blending matcha using a battery powered stir stick and other kitchen utensils. They seem to work but never satisfy me.
