The Pediped is a good all-round shoe for children. My daughter wears them outside in the summer and to school in the winter as indoor shoes. What I like is that it offers good ventilation that helps my daughter's feet stay cool and dry, especially when she somehow manages to walk through mud and snow in muddy rooms. She also loves pink. In my son's case, we bought him a pair that was a size larger, but he still wore them comfortably. He has covered many kilometers with his current pair. It wasn't pink. Not that the boy wore pink.
