I GIVE UP! Pros and cons

I give up. I bought it 3 times hoping it would work but not for me. Unfortunately it doesn't work and I've sent it back every time. Pros: 1) Great sound 2) It's the only MP3 player that allows you to have all the features of an audiobook, like tiny screen. Cons: 1) It's finicky. It's too easy to accidentally change the tone in the water. I accidentally jumped forwards or backwards or even changed the book completely with a hand or head movement. 2) The screen is too small for a person with a thumb. The pen isn't much better. 3) Although it interacts with the iPhone, the goal here is to avoid using the iPhone in the pool. In the pool I tried again to operate the incredibly small and difficult-to-use screen4) Other controls such as on/off, forward/back etc. on the side of the device are too small5. ) To connect to a PC, you must use the supplied very short cable. If I didn't do that, I kept getting messages that my computer couldn't identify the device. I need a longer cable to use the tiny screen. 6) Battery life sucks. Switching to Airplane mode increases its lifespan, but the ability to receive phone call notifications disappears. I was looking for a way to be notified in case of an emergency. 7) I asked customer service for advice and the only message I got was to return the device. Conclusion: This device is ok if someone listens to music without worrying about sequential playback, for example if you want to jump into a song. It's also good for those who have dexterous and small fingers AND excellent eyesight. For people like me who listen to books, have thumbs, want to take emergency calls and like to spend two to three hours in the pool at a time, this is not recommended.
