Works on BMW (2009 M3)
I bought an Autel MaxiIM508 to add keys to my BMWs. I added two new keys to my 2009 with no problems and now I have three working keys. I also reprogrammed the keyless remote for my 2005 F-150. So far so good... it appears to be a legitimate key programmer. I used the IM508 with the included XP200 for the mentioned key programming only, I didn't need any additional add-ons available. You may need add-ons for other makes/models, I don't know. The IM508 also has diagnostic capabilities and live data, which is a plus for the tool.
