2 liter kettle if listed correctly

UPDATE: A customer service representative from the company that sells this kettle contacted me and we exchanged several emails. In fact, I found out that at least one batch of these kettles was mislabeled so the 2 liter mark was lower than it should have been. I have attached two photos to this review. The first shows the kettle I received. In it, the max mark (2000 ml) is 49 mm higher than the surface on which the kettle stands. The second is a picture of a kettle that was sent to me from the factory. This shows the max mark at 58mm. In other words, there is a 9mm (0.35 inch) difference between the teapot I received and the markings that should have been on the teapot. This equates to approximately 250ml of water, which I called "missing" in my original review. I have been assured that despite the markings on my kettle the kettle is rated to safely hold 2 liters of water. We used a kettle filled with 2 liters of water and had no problems. I have decided to upgrade my rating from the original 3 to 4 stars. The kettle appears to work as described by the seller and is holding up securely. 2 liters of water, although the label is wrong. I would also like to point out that while the seller offered to exchange the kettle, the seller could not guarantee that every kettle I received in exchange was properly labeled, so I declined. Sentence. Instead, we reached a financial settlement for a partial refund. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I was thrilled to see a 2 liter electric kettle for sale. We have a lot of ice tea at home. We do this by placing tea bags in a large 2 liter measuring cup and then pouring boiling water over them. For a number of years we have been heating water in a 1.75 liter kettle to fill a measuring cup and then heating the water to fill the glass to the 2 liter mark. This kettle recently died. I figured that with this new kettle I would only have to boil the water once instead of twice. NOT RIGHT. Although this new kettle is labeled as having a 2 liter capacity on the maximum fill line, it turns out the real capacity is just 1.75 litres, like other kettles available from Revain. Yes, when it turned out to be short on first use, I measured it. When I filled the water up to the 2 liter mark and poured the water into my 2 liter measuring cup, the water only came up to the 1.75 liter mark. As for boiling water, that's fine. I can clean it easily. But my old kettle was just as easy to clean. In other words, if you want a 1.75 liter kettle, it's every bit as good as the others sold at Revain. But if you really want a 2 liter kettle, despite the seller's description and the markings on the kettle itself, this kettle isn't what you're looking for.
