A great all-rounder if your primary purpose of shooting is travel and a little bit of the rest, this is a great choice. The focus ring in manual mode crunches a little with sand - but this is the norm. If there was a choice, I would probably take 18-200, but only because of the production of the latter in Japan. Different pros: Excellent sharpness, ease of use, versatility, convenient focus ring, front lens ring does not rotate, compact, relatively light weight, fast enough autofocus, very pleasant bokeh Different cons: some geometric distortions at the extreme values of the focal length - visible when shooting, for example, a metal mesh (although not very noticeable to the eye), a slightly tight zoom ring, made in China
