This is a good jug, about the right size for our family of 4. After filtration, the water is tasteless and odorless. This is normal when pouring water. The only problem is that after several uses (< 15 days) the water flows through the filter very slowly. It takes about an hour to filter a cup of water, as per a video from another review. We've tried all the solutions on the web (shake the filter vigorously, gently invert, soak, rinse, etc.) to no avail.
