Review on ๐Ÿ  Wireless Home Monitor - Philips M100/37 by Patrick Jarvis

Great camera suitable for security and surveillance

I actually bought this camera as my second camera (I bought the first from Daily Deal for $30) and I couldn't be happier. Both cameras are Phillips M100. I really like that these cameras are compact and unobtrusive unless that's what you're looking for. You can hide them even more and turn off entry highlighting in the Phone app. The included power cord is ridiculously long in my opinion. The installation process, while tedious, is incredibly simple. You download the app, connect the new camera (make sure your phone is on the Wi-Fi network you want to connect the camera to) and hold the camera about 2 feet away from the phone so it can see the can scan generated QR code . Video The quality is mediocre but excellent considering the size of the camera. The sound sensor is actually TOO strong. I say this because I live in a townhouse and accidentally recorded the neighbors' conversations (the camera was pressed against the wall). The best feature is the ability to upload everything the camera captures to Dropbox. I don't recommend doing this if the camera is pointed at a high-traffic area (e.g. your front door) as it will fill up your Dropbox (I have a 70GB limit and run out of space after a month or so). I'd love to see support for Google Drive, but I don't think that will ever happen. All in all, I recommend these nice little cameras.
