Review on Lightweight And Durable: Meet The Vargo Titanium Wharn-Clip Knife by Brian Hrdlicka

Revainrating 1 out of 5

AWFUL SHEATH ruins knife!

Fine knife, one must handsharpen knife as leading edge is on ONE side-this odd style makes it good for chopping, as just cut foods clear aside nicely. Handle is VERY short-though one can rig the sheath to use as a handle extension to make it feel like a full sized knife. The sheath-oh my, the sheath,.the tip can go between the two rivets during reinsertion; almost impossible to withdraw one handed, no way to reinsert one handed. If you are looking for knife that is just a light, yet vastly more functional, the $20. Cold Steel Bird and Trout is vastly superior and only loses 1/2" of cutting edge.

Pros
  • ‎T-439
Cons
  • The blade's narrow tip may not hold up well against heavy use and could potentially snap or break with repeated sharpening
