This cable should fit a 1991 E250 with a 5.8 liter engine. He'll hang out, but that's all. After installing this cable, the accelerator pedal will be very low and full throttle acceleration will not be possible. There is an option to attach the cruise control to the end of the cable, but doing so will leave the end of the cruise control cable snagging on the throttle causing it to bind. If the cable had the stock metal clip on the end that attaches to the throttle ball, it would be slightly taller and then have enough room for the cruise control cable. If you don't have cruise control, you can install one. Plug in the cable and it works. I tried a Pioneer brand cable and it was exactly the same as this ATP. I overhauled my old one because the dealer no longer offers it.
