I wasn't expecting a miracle but I have to say it helped enough that I've definitely kept it. I am satisfied with the functionality of this splash screen. You might think that one splash screen isn't that much, but I have a standard metal splash screen, which by the way has many, many great reviews, and it splashes all over the place. I would say this one is at least 80% better. You still get splashes, but it's a little less. There doesn't seem to be a perfect solution to completely eliminating spatter, so I'm going with an 80% improvement over the 40% I got with the old-school metal. I would never use it again now that I have this one. I don't give 5 stars because firstly it doesn't eliminate splatter 100% and also because silicone can warp or loosen when heated. I've put it in the dishwasher and it cleans up nicely and looks new even though it's peeled off from the heat on the stove.
