Perfect replacement for 40 year old door rollers in my house. I built the first two doors and had to learn to use much less force as the door kept rolling until it reached the other side. Now my other doors that seemed fine also need a wheel change so I bought more of these casters. My doors only required one screw to be removed and then I had to disassemble the frame in the corner to remove the old roller and install the new one. I adjusted the height of the new roll by comparing it to the old one, which was removed before it was placed in the frame. I have found that it is easier to make height adjustments when the roller is on the outside of the door than when the door is back in place and its weight is on the roller. For the final adjustment I used a small pry bar to lift up one corner to access a screw to change the height.
