These gaskets appear to be very strong. maybe great, but I'm not sure. Those were the wrong spacers for my clamps. I cut them out on a table saw and was able to use them. If you are unsure all I can tell you is that if you have 6 inch clamps these are the wrong pads. I believe the sl300 pads are what you need. I'll try them out next. It was my fault and not the ones I needed, but after the makeover it looks like they might last. I hope this helps someone out there.
