definitely better than stripping by hand
Works well, definitely better than stripping by hand. Good machine for the price. So far I've stripped from #12 up to 600 mcm and everything between and the machine handles it pretty well. You do, however, need to adjust the spring tension from time to time when stripping different size wire; which is why I gave it 4 stars. The description states it doing that automatically.
