On my last hike I left it strapped to a fisherman's back while traversing many boulders along the river. It took a lot of abuse due to abrasions as I put the case on my device many times. The case kept the device scratch-free and in perfect condition. In this regard, my new screen protector was scratched (which had to be replaced) and was not collecting dust like in this case. The construction is good and fits my device perfectly. I expected more dirt to fall through the screen hole, but surprisingly it didn't. All ports and buttons are easily accessible and don't interfere with anything, including the clip. I would like the color to match that of the Garmin itself, but it's still clearly visible. I would recommend.
