Nice little bulb. I used a similar bulb in a light fixture I made in college in 1996. This lightbulb has worked all these years, but it's also the last lightbulb in my house! So it was time to switch to LEDs, although the old bulb still worked. These new LED bulbs fit perfectly. They're a bit shorter than incandescent bulbs, but give off a warm colored light that looks soft and uses a lot less power, not to mention they generate less heat (the fixture tends to get hot after a while).
