Review on ๐Ÿ“– Dylusions Dyan Reaveley's Creative Journal by CRAFTERS WORKSHOP, 5x8-Inch for Optimal SEO by Carrie Spencer

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Mostly acceptable

Pros: Thick kraft paper that can handle all the mixed materials I use with minimal buckling - takes primer particularly well; the book opens flat with very little adjustment - no need to clamp the span; Kraft envelopes can also be colored or otherwise personalized; Because I draw on each spread, I understand how many pages are left to work on; inexpensive; a good size for filling the spread relatively quickly, but not so small that it cramps my style. Cons: Signatures are so thick I'll probably have to cut out the pages to keep the spine from crocodile too much; As with many other magazines with embroidered signatures, liquid paint and ink will bleed down the chute, discoloring and distorting the finished spreads elsewhere in this signature - even relatively thick primers will bleed into other spreads - the only way to stop bleeding, consists in sealing the chute with tape adding the crocodile book; Pages not primed with primer/primer/gel absorb a lot of pigment, making the colors or inks less vibrant, but Dylusion spray inks, designed specifically for these magazines, work best on unprimed pages. Paper.
