I was a little skeptical that this would actually light up the flag and I was basically correct. When there is no wind, it lights up the top of the flag but after about a foot or two, it is dark. If the flag is blowing out, only about the top corner of the flag is really lit up. While I am not returning the product, I decided to purchase two electric LED spotlights to properly light my flag. (Primarily because the package was trashed by the kid and thrown away).The second issue is that it is winter and the nights are long so that by about 4am, the light is very dim and you can't even see any part of the flag lite up.
