Update: Received a replacement for the same product but still the same problem. The reboot appears to be in read-only mode. I can easily write large files or many files. I erased almost 1.5TB to the drive at once and it worked fine. I have the 2TB version of this SSD. I used it as my daily driver. Performance is as good as the spec claims if you're using it for small files or as a backup that doesn't require large file transfers at once. many files or one large file. It happened a few times while watching videos of him. I figured it was a heat issue so I put a fan on it to cool it down. Didn't fix the problem. I switched from a USB-C port to a USB-A port hoping the lower speed might make a difference, no. I tried it with three different powerful computers (Razer Blade 15, Lenovo P53 and Intel Xenon Workstation). Nothing solves the problem. The firmware is up to date and I used the cables that came with the drive. I also tried different cables but still not solved the problem. I'm getting a replacement now to see if I received a defective cable or if it's a design flaw. I saw another comment here with the same problem and in this case the replacement didn't fix it. I'll test mine when it comes out. I like the performance and the fingerprint scanner, but this bug makes it useless for me.
