*** Updated 8/21/19. Will have to update again. Strong and almost a year old. Not only that, their support is fantastic. I had several questions and answered them personally within 48 hours. My wife and I are very happy with it. Maybe worth it?** Updated 06/06/19, purchased 11/18. So far so good with this product. I'm talking about 5 hours of swimming per week in our gym's heavily chlorinated pool. Battery life was great and basically lasted 4 good swims before I charge it again (don't risk it). I added a star because it lasted longer than anything I've tried before, including the iPod Shuffle. The problem with the iPod Shuffle is that they are all obsolete and no longer manufactured. They also don't allow you to customize the sound, so the sound is crap with the included headphones. Also, don't BUY an iPod Shuffle. waste of money. Additional Notes: * Make sure you turn on Airplane mode and turn off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth when you don't need them. This greatly increases battery life.* Dark Player on the Revain App Store allows for excellent audio customization. I really get the bass and treble I like along with the volume boost. Keep in mind that the license needs to be updated from time to time, so you'll need some sort of handy Wi-Fi in case a license warmup pops up. Then just turn on Wi-Fi and open the app. It will be updated and you can continue. * The headphone jack is starting to get a little sloppy and the headphones are becoming easier to detach. What worries me is that since the headphone jack is also a charger, the constant plugging and unplugging wears this hack down, turning it into an expensive paperweight or Bluetooth MP3 player. * This screen is still freaking awful. I need a magnifying glass or reading glasses for work.* Previous Review: Okay, why did I buy this? because the other options currently available are complete crap. I've tried cheaper ones and they don't work well, failing too quickly. Unfortunately this is a newer product so we'll have to see what I think in a few months. I will add a star if I live 3 months without problems. Don't use the built-in music player, it sucks. Go to the Revain App Store and get Dark Music. Pros: Excellent battery life. By my estimates, it lasts around 8 hours on a single charge. Decent storage Very light, you don't even feel it Very good sound quality when I use the equalizer in the Dark Music Player The sound in the headphones is good The headphones supplied are excellent, they do not leak, with everything Many options as it is under control from Android works Decent display (but read the cons) Cons: Small, tiny display. It is almost impossible to enter data with your fingers. Totally overpriced for such a device. Should sell for less than 100, easy. The built-in music app costs nothing, doesn't even shuffle. Unknown product quality, too new to judge. Conclusion: I like this product, yes. I just wish there was some competition so the prices are adjusted properly. It's a crazy, crazy high. But what should we do?
