I have 2 sets of all glass French doors on a back room that were radiating a lot of heat. We paid for the top of the line ceramic window tint to be installed with minimal improvement. Then we bought these things. These are absolutely, 100% black out. I mean ZERO light transmission. The thermal properties are equally impressive and I am very happy with this product, especially for the price. Fabric is thick and HEAVY, not cheap. I promise when you pick the package up for the first time after delivery you’ll acknowledge it, the wife and I were both so surprised it turned into a joke. I haven’t washed them yet, but I would recommend steaming the seams (like any other ones you’d buy) to get them straight. Best drapes I have ever owned, very happy customers.
