Regardless, overall I'm happy. But, if you think that by saving 7k+ on the Galaxy S10+ you will get a tighter balance, alas, this is not the case. Nevertheless, for the money, the OP 7 Pro is a great device. Its pros: 1) The screen is beautiful. 90 Hz noticeable 2) Very fast. Compared to my previous S8 + just a rocket ated on 09/20/2022: 3) After 2.5 years, the phone works the same as on the first day of purchase, neither the battery, nor the screen, nor the overall performance, nothing sank, just amazing. This is the most reliable smartphone I have ever owned. But the downside is that I have been looking for a reason to change it for half a year, but there is none) Different cons: 1) Size and weight. Samsung managed to stop in time with the increase in size, but OnePlus is still chasing the largest possible screen. The difference between 6.7 and 6.4 inches does not affect the functionality of the device, but the ergonomics are very strong, it is heavy and too big. 2) Camera. This is the only, but very significant reason why I would think before buying this phone. If you are used to iPhone or Samsung with their excellent camera out of the box, then everything is complicated. The sensor itself is good here (Sony IMX 586), but there are big problems with the stock camera software: - Portrait mode and panorama are so bad that it makes no sense to use them at all, it's 2/10. The portrait blurs the face as if a harsh blur has been superimposed on it, and the panorama sticks together a series of photographs very crookedly and completely kills the detail. - Standard camera mode is 6.5/10. It's not terrible, photos, if not compared, for example, with my old SGS8 + look quite normal, but when compared, it is obvious that in most scenarios it blurs the image, kills detail and darkens already dark areas. Oneplus is trying to improve the camera, but they have been doing it for almost a year now and it hurts me that the 2022 flagship takes better photos. - I have no complaints about the video, in my opinion, the camera is like a camera. The first thing every OnePlus owner should do is install Google Camera. This will greatly improve the normal mode, but not everyone says that GCam is not a panacea, that slow motion does not work in it, optical zoom does not work, that video recording in it is worse than in stock, and this is very important to know for those who is going to buy this smartphone. It's good to know that you actually have to use 2 camera apps for different tasks.
