Know the old school trick of storing them in a bag with some water. They do not break during installation, but dry out and fail at any moment, especially with movement/vibration. Half of them break during installation, most of the others have broken since I bought them 6 months ago. I showed my disappointment to my wife and scored 0 out of 10 trying to wrap cables under the hood of the car. We had a good laugh. I'm a plastics engineer and I use nylon with additives to prevent embrittlement. They're expensive, so if you have an app you don't want to support, spend more and save yourself the hassle.
