CC did it! In-Ear Headphones

With the ZS10 pro, although I had my doubts about the design of some of the previous KZ models, they kept their original look and did a fantastic job! Headphones immediately look cool. The box, packaging and accessories are basic, but who cares. The polished stainless steel mirror plates are very cool and have a bit of weight, which I like. Overall good build quality for the price. The size is significantly smaller than the ZS6 or AS10 and fits my ears better. Even my friend, who she says has "the smallest ears in the world", managed to fit them. The cable is a typical KZ 2 pin, nothing fancy but this IEM definitely gets a good aftermarket cable as it's fast becoming my favorite budget pair of headphones in my collection. And all because of the sound: the mechanics of the ZS10 pro are slightly V-shaped. I expected the dual dynamic driver to deliver good bass punch and was not disappointed. Bass is good! He hits hard but remains controlled. This is how electronic music, hip-hop and most modern genres are fun. It may lack the resolution of a balanced armature driver (AS10 for comparison), but it has better sub-bass extension and more power overall. The Notorious BIG song "The Old Thing is Back" makes me smile when I listen to it with the ZS10 pros. Lorde's "Royals" is another bass-heavy song this IEM really gets going. I listened to Amber Rubarth's "A kiss to build a dream on" and compared the previous and fourth to my 10x more expensive 8 BA Fearless audio set. surprised how well KZ held up. The soundstage was open and natural, and while the mids (her voice and acoustic instruments) lacked a bit of resolution compared to the much more expensive one, the tonality sounded right and her voice was still emotional and nuanced. But the biggest improvement for me compared to the other KZs on this set is the high range. The ZS10 pro is tuned for a more relaxed listening experience, with the highs being clipped when needed. No sibilance in female voices and maintaining good resolution. Simply put, this is by far the best model KZ has ever made. Superb build quality combined with a very comfortable, open and relaxed feel make the ZS10 a great budget all-rounder at an unbeatable price. Additional Thoughts: For anyone who likes the ZS10 Pro but needs a better cable, Linsoul has an upgrade with the Tripowin C8 cable. with QDC connectors
