I have used a variety of Pelican cases over the years in the military. Although I never had to pay for it, I was aware of its high price. Comparing this Condition 1 to the Pelican brand, I have to admit I'm very impressed. For this particular model, it includes three layers of adjustable foam. Each layer is approximately 1.5 inches thick. Each layer is made up of small detachable squares (measuring 0.5" x 0.5" x 1.5"). In addition to the three adjustable layers of handset, there is a fixed piece of the phone at the bottom of the case and the other attached to the inside of the cover. The body also has locking levers (with different external locking holes) and a decompression valve. You can see from my photos that I was able to perfectly match the DJI Ronin SC gimbal with its accessories, in this case perfect .Of course, as I didn't make any cuts and strictly removed the foam squares to the correct size and depth, some pieces of my gear don't fit perfectly.If you're a bit of a perfectionist, you might be able to get a few hours out depending on the shape and complexity of the gear out of your schedule to get your things in order.The case doesn't feel or look cheap at all.This s This special case is much cheaper in price than a similar size Pelican brand and doesn't compromise on quality. I would think this case would be ideal if the adjustable foam squares were thinner than 1.5 inches as they are now. If they were thinner it would allow for much finer tuning. Also, there is not much difference between the two cases. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND buying this case! We wish you the best of luck with your purchase!
