I have an old car without bluetooth. What led me to this device. This thing connected to my iPhone XS Max with no issues. The sound quality via Bluetooth 5.0 is real! I've read reviews where people said it makes a humming noise when no sound is playing. That's true, but only if you charge it at the same time. As soon as you disconnect it from the charger, the buzzing disappears. Also, the hum does NOT disturb the music. I REPEAT, THE PRESS WILL ONLY APPEAR WHEN YOU'RE NOT LISTENING TO MUSIC AND THE MICRO CHARGING CABLE IS PLUGGED INTO IT. What's more, it will automatically connect to the latest device after power on. You press the power button on it, plug it in and boom, you turn off your music. Overall this is a great purchase. Don't be fooled by negative reviews or some people's non-technical understanding. It does exactly what it's supposed to do.
