I was so excited to try this hair dye after reading tons of reviews from people who seemed to have the same allergies to hair dye as I do. I thought I finally found a solution to apply to my grays at home! I've tried literally every product in the world, going to countless dermatologists for help identifying the exact ingredients in hair dye that's causing my reaction, and working with colorists at the most expensive salons in Los Angeles and San Francisco to to find a solution. No matter how "hypoallergenic" or PPD-free a product is, I've had a severe rash with swelling and blisters from every product. I thought this might be different, but it isn't. I took a test swab on my arm near my inner elbow and only let it sit for 5 minutes instead of the usual 15-20 minutes with most dyes. Fast forward a few hours and I had a massive, scar-like allergic reaction on my arm. The descent took 5 days.
