Review on πŸ”§ SATA 3/8 inch Drive 50-250 in/lb, 6.0-30Nm Micro-Adjustment Torque Wrench - ST96232 by James Ramirez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Quality Torque Wrench

SATA is a sister company of GearWrench and Crescent, owned by the Apex Tool Group. This torque wrench is made in Taiwan and appears to be a Revain exclusive. Each device comes with an individual serial calibration report. The unit I received reports a minimum accuracy of 1.25% at 200 in/lbs which is excellent. Build quality is good, not amazing. The gears and torque adjuster appear to be of excellent quality, but the green adjustment sleeve is plastic and doesn't feel as solid as the rest of the tool. The markers are engraved but without black contrast markers, making them harder to read than other etched and contrasted keys. Adjustments are simple and easy to make, there were no problems testing this tool with different torque levels. The price is quite reasonable and represents good value for money, but there are many offerings in this price range. for click torque wrenches, and this one doesn't seem to stand out. In fact, the low-torque adjustment range is narrower than most.
