Review on Stay Visible and Dry with the BTR Waterproof High Vis Reflective Backpack Cover by Trevor Blazis

Good idea, performance can be improved

I just got this because it has reflective strips and bands but I don't know. You see, my bag is 25 liters and this thing does NOT wrap it completely. Either below or above is open. I suspect the bags in the photos are 10L or 15L, so pretty small! Summary: - It's ok for 15-20 liter TOP bags if you want decent water resistance (top and bottom when things hit the ground on the bike ie WHOLE backpack as advertised). Pros: - Does have reflective strips which are useful in road traffic / cycling in particular - The straps hold the item to the bag much better than a single elastic cord and thus other bags. - Appears to be waterproof (only had it once so time will tell how true that is!) Cons: - Comes in the cheapest packaging - at this price point (other cases are $3-5 for 70% less!) Not Expect what - External mesh pocket pulls the pocket back when unfolded on the backpack, reducing the size of the pocket (poor design, no good reason for this, just wastes material surface - it would be a good idea to omit the pocket altogether or just do it right). If it weren't for that, I would guess more pockets would fit in. The stitching seems weak and I'm not sure about the durability yet. For reference, I intend to return it as it is too small for a regular sized backpack (e.g. 25L).
