Review on Selle Italia Turbo Vintage 1980 Saddle by Joel Gumbiner

I'm not surprised that this is a comfortable saddle. If you prefer a round profile with an anatomical fit, this is for you. The materials in this new version are excellent. The attenuation density has improved (I have older ones for comparison). The nubuck leather in the "brown" version is excellent and keeps your bottom where you want it on the saddle. So why 4 stars? While the materials and fit are excellent, most buyers of a brown saddle want it to match their color scheme. photos are deceiving. This is sand color. This saddle is a nice tan, not brown. I hope it will darken after use. My handlebars are made from the lightest Brooks leather and are MUCH darker than the saddle. This saddle is a perfect match for Cinelli's cork strap.
