years. It still works great with the Adruino Mini Pro clone, for example. But when I connected it to the ESP32 CAM board it didn't happen. I've tried various things including powering the ESP32 with a desktop power supply but still can't connect. This board worked great the first time. I just connected it to the ESP32 CAM with 5V, Gnd, Tx and Rx on Rx and Tx respectively and added a flash mode jumper between IO0 and Gnd. Plug it in and tell VSCode/Platformio to load it. Bingo. As others have noted, the implementation is fairly minimal, but what do you expect for the price?
