I don't know what "transparency" is, but until I solve the problems I rate everything as neutral. The device I received appears to have been previously returned by another customer. The box was torn. The protective plastic on the screen has been removed, but the plastic on the status lights stays in place. While the information on this page suggests that a manual is available for download, only the included quick start guide is available, which leaves a lot to be desired even for that purpose. I'm sure whoever wrote this is better at English than I am at Chinese, but if a company wants to market it needs to have someone who is fluent in that language and at least reads and edits the literature. Even the instructions for registering the device and downloading updates leave questions about how to proceed. THERE ARE NO INSTRUCTIONS IN THIS MANUAL FOR USING THE DEVICE, AND NO MANUALS APPEAR TO BE AVAILABLE. Also, the update software is very sketchy at best (at least on my supposedly supported Windows 7 machines). I registered and updated it. However, the next time I tried to connect it, I got a message that serial port initialization failed, unplug USB and plug it back in. Still does not work. System rebooted again, no luck. Finally uninstalled and reinstalled the software with a reboot in between - no success. I have sent an email to support and am waiting for a response from them. If no entitlement is found it will come back, without the manual I would check before buying again. I will update this I don't review them after hearing from them good or bad.
