Review on πŸ”† Antec Bias Lighting for HDTV: Reduce Eye Fatigue & Enhance Image Clarity with 51.1-Inch Cable by Phil Show

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Looks cool, cheap and great for late night TV

Excellent offset lighting at a fairly reasonable price. I have three of these. One on the 55 inch TV in my bedroom. Two on a 75 inch TV in my living room. For a 55-inch TV, I stretched it back (just above center) and slightly curled the ends once I was a few inches from the edge of the TV. I used black tape to attach it to a few pieces (mainly around the corners and to hold the USB power cord). For the 75 inch TV I used the same inverted U shape. I started both cords at the top center. One went to the left and then rotated down and ended at the bottom of the TV, rotating slightly toward the center. The other went to the right and reflected the other side. This kept both USB cables down and seemed to give good lighting. Uses the same tape to secure these cables. The band back looks good. I just didn't want to risk it falling off. I used blue painters tape to measure it and temporarily lift it to check the lighting. Then I started removing the backing from one end and attaching it piece by piece. The farther your TV is from the wall, the weaker the light will be. Both of my are standing on tables (instead of hanging) so I moved them a little closer to the wall to get a little more light diffusion. It helps my eyes very well when I watch TV at night. It also looks damn cool.
