This shoe runs a bit small for its width.

My grandson has wide flat feet. We had to replace his previous Merrell shoes due to wear and tear. These shoes (another Merrells model) fit his foot perfectly. This model is denser. The local shoe store didn't stock better shoes, but there was an insole with a thinner foot pad than the insoles we used. That additional $45 purchase turned this cheap shoe into a more expensive purchase.

Pros

Holds up well, fits well, she loves them, that's all that matters.

Cons

High Price: The Rainbow colorway is more expensive than other Merrell Nova 2 colorways, making it less affordable for some buyers.
