Finally, a reliable adapter you can count on. I've used it many times when there are no wireless signals. I haven't had any problems and I'm glad it has a USB 3.0 port so I can use our school's fiber optic network. Works very well with other computers. In fact, I tried this Ethernet adapter on my Asus X550CA, which has USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports. Both work fine. Note that this works on a USB hub! Windows automatically installs drivers from Windows Update when you connect for the first time. The data medium is not required. Just connect your computer or tablet wirelessly and let it do its job.
