Does the job in my review

The reason I purchased this item was to keep my glasses from sliding forward on my nose. Since my right ear is slightly lower than my left ear, when my glasses are centered on my nose, the right arm of the glasses rides a little above my right ear, thus allowing my glasses to slide forward. Because these eyeglass strap holders, at their shortest length, hold tight against the back of my head, no slippage occurs. This is what I needed and this is what I received.
