Disclaimer! I received this item for free from the seller! My opinion is my own and as free from prejudice as possible. I was deeply impressed by the use of this product on the set of a school project. The tripod is solid, stays in place in the many positions I set it up in, is lightweight, and fits easily in my backpack for easy on-the-go shooting. It even comes with a shutter remote that's quick to set up! I turned it on, paired it and it was taking remote photos with one click in less than 10 seconds from the initial setup, no dedicated app, works in your default app or your favorite camera app from the gate. There are only two issues that I have found with this product that prevent me from honestly giving it a full 5 stars. First, if you've never connected a Bluetooth device to your phone, you'll be sad to see that the remote shutter doesn't come with instructions. If you don't already know how to do this, or if you have a friend who does, you need to figure out how to pair your device. The bigger issue is the mounting plate, however, as it doesn't include any tool-less means of securely attaching the camera or the included phone holder. Most of the mounting plates I've used have a ring that can be screwed on to allow the camera to be firmly attached, but this product doesn't. The only way to securely attach the device to the panel is to use a screwdriver or other tool. Hand tightening makes for shaky use, especially when walking with a tripod. It's far from ideal and really the only major issue I have with the product. I have reported this issue to the seller and I hope it gets fixed in future iterations. Despite these inconveniences, the tripod is a wonderful product and I will be using it for a number of my shoots!
