RAM chips actually soldered to the board, Samsung. Use a Samsung 8GB flash drive for compatibility and lower costs. Get M471A1K43CB1-CTD. Works great on my DS220+ and DS720+. It has been checked with Synology Assistant's storage test and there are no errors/malicious warnings about not using Synology memory card.
