💾 Upgrade Your Synology NAS with Synology RAM DDR4-2666 Non-ECC SO-DIMM 4GB (D4NESO-2666-4G) Review

I found well one well-known site where you can buy it by hand. It ended up being cheaper. In fact, I took a new one, since the person took it out of his DS1520 + to put 2 x 10 GB. Although I probably even regular 2 GB in DS720+ would be enough. Usually around 10-15% memory usage was. Now draws 5%. But I just bought a NAS, I haven't uploaded it yet, I just uploaded the pictures.

Only bought to maintain my 920+ warranty when every other 4GB stick works fine. Must be 50% of its current value ($100). Also, it works great in DS920+ and allowed me to run a few more Docker containers.

The price of memory is quite high compared to what it typically costs from third-party vendors. No problems so far and it works great.

The RAM chips that are actually soldered onto the board are from Samsung. Use a Samsung 8GB flash drive for compatibility and lower costs. Get M471A1K43CB1-CTD. Works great on my DS220+ and DS720+. It is checked with Synology Assistant memory test, also there are no errors/malicious warnings about not using Synology branded memory card.

Works perfectly with DS 720+. The RAM cost is high, but using another unapproved module will cause problems. For example; Shutdown, data loss, hard drive clicks. Direct system crashes and random freezes. This one works best. Save yourself the headache and get Synology approved modules.

I don't play games so I don't have an opinion, but it installs easily and my software for my NAS tells me it works as advertised. Synology's OEM parts are slightly more expensive but don't seem to have any issues, while some other reviewers have noted some issues with components from other vendors.
