I have a test plane that has started to use a lot of oil. I wasn't sure if it was a leak or the crankcase ventilation had blown out. I poured half a bottle and flew for an hour. Closed the hangar doors and turned on the $12.95 black light flashlight I bought at the same time. Quickly found a crack in the oil tank. This kit saved the day. I drained the oil and repaired the crack. Good stuff. My only concern is leaving it in the engine for a full 40 hours between oil changes. The description says it's compatible, but is it really? I don't know but it helped. I'm pretty sure it's not approved for certified aircraft.
