I bought a 2001 Triumph Bonneville to remove the steering rack from a friend. The steering column design leaves little room for using a striking tool or similar tool to knock it out. The tool arrived yesterday and the races were over in no time. The biggest challenge was finding a suitable driver bushing as the frame neck is not a straight shot. So, with a head big enough to fit on the instrument and down the neck, connected to a 1/2 inch extension, and with the help of my non-rebounding hammer, they came along. The packaging says the tool is made in Taiwan and the leading edge is well formed and tool free. I did not notice any deformation of the lips after application. I am very happy with this one use.
