My old latch broke years ago and I bought a new one in a parking lot. This one broke after 2 years and I finally found the time to look for a new one. I bought this junk and received it within two days. I immediately put it on the window (I've been a mechanic and bodybuilder my entire adult life and started working in a motorcycle shop with my father when I was 5). This $%@& part broke the first time I tried to break it. Didn't even try to get it to snap! I will not buy this brand of locks again. Absolutely ridiculous!
