I am writing to explain how much I enjoy using these XTU cameras for the wild outdoors. The entire body and back are made of durable, thick plastic, which allows the camera to stand up to the elements and weighs less than a water bottle, allowing me to carry it around and set it up wherever I want. Mounting options include a round steel bracket that can be bolted to a deck or wall and then attached with a screw from the pan head to the underside of the game camera, like a camera on a tripod in the morning. But I opted for green straps that can be wrapped around the tree and threaded through the loops at the back. The hinges and struts on the back also have plastic spikes that grip the wood for a secure hold. The setup menu system is very simple and I was able to set the date and time and then the image sensor sensitivity and shooting modes. WiFi option. To do this, I simply scan the QR code provided in the manual and download an app called Hunting Cam Pro onto my iPhone. I can then put on the watch that came with the camera and press the power button. The camera turns on the blue LED in the top left corner and then I can connect my phone to the camera. I can then take a photo or video from the footprint camera and see it live on my phone. This connection also allows me to view and download all photos and videos taken by the game camera on the included full 32GB SDHC prior to my connection. The wildlife camera will make a camera shutter sound when using the phone option, which can be disabled in the settings. In the future I will look for a 6V DC adapter and figure out how to power this camera with a solar panel and batteries.
