Review on 🏊 Subwing - Underwater Fly Board for Boats - Towable Watersports - 1, 2, 3, 4 Person Tow - Alternative to Water Skiing, Flying Tubes & Tube Floats by Dean Wilson

I've always wanted one of these since they came out with the carbon fiber and fiberglass models but the price of those earlier models put me off venturing into some crazy new water toy sports, that I can like or dislike. I was so excited to find that they made the new model more affordable for most budgets and bought it quickly. It is so much fun. I am an avid diver and water sports enthusiast and was initially very skeptical as I live in the Pacific Northwest where the water is much darker and murkier than the crystal clear tropical waters featured in all Subwing commercials. it seemed that visibility would be the real limiting factor and it was easy to trip or injure yourself in our emerald waters. Not so! The Subwing tows much slower than the video suggests and is very responsive even at those slow speeds. (On the boat, we cruised at about 4 mph - calm and quiet enough for the boat's passengers to enjoy their own conversations and drinks). It feels a lot quicker underwater, but by no means unmanageable. I can also confirm that it works well from small fishing boats too. I've done it several times in the dark waters of Puget Sound as well as several times in different lakes and it's been a blast every time! There is nothing to store away and it is easy to service (simply detach the swivel from the wings and rinse everything off). In my opinion there is no reason why someone who loves to swim shouldn't have one of these in their watersports arsenal. a tow line and subwing lines to prevent the lines from twisting after a few rolls. And preferably with a quick release carabiner. [This is by no means a problem as you can just scroll in the opposite direction, but it would be a good option as I prefer to scroll clockwise for some reason.]. Great product; Thank you Subwing team!
