These are really nice pans with fairly even heat distribution. I like that the oil doesn't scorch or overheat like stainless steel pans do, but I don't think they are a must for every cooktop surface as they immediately started discoloring inside and out after using them in our glass cooktop. For the price I can find better and more versatile pots and pans.
